The Kazan state university of architecture and civil engineering is one of the oldest and historically most important universities in the Tatarstan republic of the Russian federation. Institute of transport structures:

This institute is one of the newer institutes of the university and was established in 2001. The faculty specializes in road building and is a center for advanced training of personnel for road building industry of Tatarstan.
